James has grown up in the industry, starting on the frontline of his local leisure centre in 1998. Since then, he has been a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, managed gyms and sales, contact centres, regions and states, working all the way up to senior executive roles for some of the largest leisure operators across Australia and New Zealand including the YMCA and Belgravia Leisure. James is actively involved in industry bodies, and a member of the Academic Board of the Australian College of Physical Education.

Over the years, James has an built extensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities that collaboration can bring across Private, Not for Profits, Government, Health and Sport. Passionate about leaving a legacy of change in how our sector is understood, valued and funded, James is committed to harnessing the power of data to drive decision making to foster earlier activity, increased intervention and better health outcomes.

Troy Morgan is a Wellbeingpreneur, CEO of Willows Health Group and Director of Vision Exercise Physiology. Troy is a sought-after national speaker and serves on several boards.

Troy is also an investor and Head of Wellbeing Strategy at health technology platform SpringDay.

He was a Business Partner in Australian Broadcasting Corporation Commercial’s Award-Winning Happy Body at Work Program, a program that is a multimedia technology-based corporate health program that has been rolled out to more than 40000 employees across Australia. The program won the prestigious AMY Digital Awards for the best Health and Wellbeing Online program in Australia.

Troy’s has worked with clients such as Optus, PWC, Australian Taxation Office, Vodaphone NZ, Virgin Australia, Accenture, Australia Post and ANZ. His corporate health work has seen him launch wellbeing and change strategy initiatives not only in Australia but in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

In his own sporting career Troy has played in 5 World Cups for Australia in Touch Football and has played in over 50 games for Australia.

Darren has more than 15 years’ industry experience across three equipment providers, and most recently 6 years with Technogym, providing business solutions within Local Government, Key Account and boutique fitness facilities. Darren has led the Australian Club Sales division to back to back global sales challenge winners for 2019 and 2020. Currently, Technogym employs a dedicated team of key account managers who cover all States and Territories, as well as a network of Technogym Educators that ensure the delivery of tailored product training and digital support to fitness centres.

Brett’s involvement in the fitness industry spans nearly two decades. A Personal Trainer by trade, Brett began his career with Fitness First and has since gone on to work with many of Australia’s leading fitness Industry brands including Virgin Active, Fitness Passport, Anytime Fitness and now with Technogym. Brett’s experience on the front line within health clubs, and with the support of Technogym’s Digital Sales team, has seen the number of operators taking the leap into a digital transformation grow to over 300 nationwide and 80,000 members actively engaging with the Mywellnes platform.
